Reading the Land

Program for Adults

 

Nature is full of stories, but can you read its language? Bite marks on leaves, animal scat, footprints, and subtle changes in plant life give us clues as to what is going on in the natural world around us. Join us for a one-hour “Nature Duolingo” session with a presentation and short guided hike.

Time: 10:30am-11:30am

Cost:

  • $12.50/participant
  • Abington Resident: $11.25/participant
  • FOBB Member: $10.00/participant
Notes:
  • The presentation portion of this program will take place on the second floor of the Museum, only accessible by stairs. The rest of the program will take place outdoors and is formatted as a guided hike. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
  • You will be contacted in the case of cancellation due to extreme weather.
  • Registration closes 11/14/25 at 12:00pm.

Cancellation Policy
If you cancel the program 15 days or more before its start date, you will receive an 80% refund (20% service fee). No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the program start date. To cancel, email Melissa Eldridge at melissa@briarbush.org.
