School's Out, Get Outside!

Program for Children in Grades K-5

When school is not in session, students can spend a day at Briar Bush exploring the outdoors, meeting live animals, making crafts, playing in nature, and more. Be sure to pack a lunch, snacks, water bottle, and full change of clothes.

Notes:

As School's Out is a drop-off program, a Medical and Pick-Up Consent Form is required to be completed for each participant before the program date. This form is valid from June through to the following May. You will need to log in to the registration system, complete the form, click 'Continue,' click 'Checkout,' then click 'Complete Order' in order for the form to be submitted. If you are not sure if you have completed the form, please email Melissa Eldridge at melissa@briarbush.org.
Participants must come prepared with a backpack complete with a water bottle, snacks, lunch, and a change of clothes.
Children ages 8+ may travel in the Briar Bush van to local parks during this program.
Briar Bush Nature Center does not provide transportation from the schools to the program on Half-Days.
Programs take place indoors and outdoors for varying durations of time depending on the weather. Please dress appropriately for the weather.

We are unable to accommodate participants over the program capacity.

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel the program 15 days or more before its start date, you will receive an 80% refund (20% service fee). No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the program start date.
