DESCRIPTION:Family Nature Night \n  \n A program for children with sensory processing differences and their families \n  \n  \n  \n Bring the whole family for a fun night complete with live animal encounters and interactive stations relating to the theme of the night - all at your own pace. Family Nature Nights are geared toward children with sensory processing differences and feature a forest sensory experience! \n  \n  \n   \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n Location: Briar Bush Nature Center \n Date: Friday, September 18, 2026 \n Time: 6:00pm-7:30pm  \n Cost: Free! \n  \n Notes: \n  \n  \n  \n 	 \n 	This program requires registration for participants ages 2+. Children under 2 years of age do not require registration. Adult registration is required; this is not a drop-off program. \n 	 \n 	 \n 	The program is scheduled from 6:00pm-7:30pm; families may arrive at any time during this window and are welcome to stay for a quick visit or for the entirety of the program. \n 	 \n 	 \n 	The program is designed to be flexible and welcoming for all families. Participants are free to explore a variety of activity stations at their own pace, choosing to participate in any or all activities of interest. Station activities are primarily geared toward preschool through early elementary ages, with some advanced activity options available. \n 	 \n 	 \n 	The program will take place both indoors and outdoors, rain or shine, with opportunities to participate in outdoor activities for varying lengths of time.  \n  \n 	 \n 		 \n 		Please dress appropriately for the weather. You will be contacted in the case of cancellation due to extreme weather. \n 		 \n 		 \n 		The indoor portion of the program will take place on the first floor of the Museum (accessible). \n 		 \n 		 \n 		Trail surfaces include asphalt (accessible), woodchips, gravel, compacted soil, exposed roots, and/or water bars. The trails may be sloped/uneven. \n 		 \n 	 \n 	 \n 	 \n 	A quiet corner will be available throughout the event for anyone who may need a break from the activity. Light snacks will also be provided. \n 	 \n 	 \n 	Registration closes 9/18/26 at 12:00pm. \n 	 \n 	 \n 	Questions or need help registering?
